Close at the top!
Only two points separated the top six pairs! First, second and third places, all on 42 points, were decided on count back.
Local knowledge prevailed with West Cornwall pairs squeezing into the top two places with Perranporth close on their heels. Congratulations to Ian Coutts & Don Ruhrmund, Kelvin Searle & Neil Collis, and David Crossley & Phil Moore.
The weather was kind, with an interesting breeze. The course I’m told played fair. Food and refreshment seemed to go down well. Members were in good spirit producing a positive atmosphere. Prizes were reasonably distributed. But above all, thank you gentlemen for supporting my Captains Day and I hope that you found it as enjoyable as I did!
